Position Summary

FB Society is seeking a strategic, hands-on Creative Director to lead the visual expression and creative execution of a diverse portfolio of hospitality brands. This role oversees the creative development, brand stewardship, print production, and execution of marketing assets, menus, signage, packaging, and guest-facing materials across restaurants, bars, food halls, private dining, events, digital platforms, and emerging brand concepts.

The Creative Director serves as the guardian of brand integrity while driving innovative, guest-focused creative solutions that support business growth. This leader manages an internal creative team, external freelancers, photographers, and agency partners while collaborating closely with marketing, operations, culinary, beverage, sales, and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Leadership & Strategy

· Serve as the creative steward for all FB Society brands, ensuring consistency and excellence across every guest touchpoint.

· Lead the development, evolution, and implementation of brand standards and visual identities.

· Translate business objectives into compelling creative strategies that drive guest engagement, traffic, and revenue.

· Champion creative innovation while balancing operational realities and business priorities.

· Identify opportunities to elevate the guest experience through design, storytelling, and emerging technologies.

Creative Direction

· Oversee the creative development of all marketing, digital, print, environmental, and promotional materials.

· Provide creative direction, feedback, and mentorship throughout concepting, design, production, and execution.

· Ensure all creative work aligns with brand standards, project objectives, and business goals.

· Maintain a high standard of design while managing multiple brands and concurrent initiatives.

· Lead creative reviews and present concepts to key stakeholders.

Print Production & Vendor Management

· Oversee the production and execution of menus, signage, promotional collateral, packaging, event materials, and other printed assets across all FB Society brands.

· Manage print production timelines, specifications, proofing, quality control, and vendor coordination to ensure brand consistency and operational accuracy.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with printers, fabrication partners, 3rd party designers and production vendors.

· Review proofs, approve materials, and ensure final deliverables meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations

· Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate the quality of printed materials.

Team Leadership & Development

· Lead and develop a team consisting of:

o Graphic Designers

o Full-Stack Developer

o Freelance designers, photographers, and production partners

· Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented team culture focused on creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.

· Manage team workload, prioritization, resource allocation, and project planning.

· Provide coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.

· Maintain working relationships with print partners and vendors.

Digital Experience & Innovation

· Partner with the Full-Stack Developer to oversee website design, user experience, SEO, accessibility, and digital innovation initiatives.

· Guide creative strategy across web, email marketing, digital campaigns, and emerging digital platforms.

· Evaluate and implement AI tools, creative technologies, and workflow improvements that enhance efficiency and output quality.

· Ensure digital experiences reflect brand standards and support business objectives.

Project & Process Management

· Oversee creative workflow, intake processes, timelines, and resource planning across all brands.

· Balance strategic initiatives with high-volume production needs.

· Establish and refine creative processes that improve efficiency, collaboration, and quality control.

· Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and at a high level of execution.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Work closely with Marketing, Operations, Culinary, Beverage, Sales, HR, and Executive Leadership teams.

· Translate stakeholder needs into clear creative solutions.

· Serve as a trusted creative advisor and partner across the organization.

Qualifications

Required

· 5-7+ years of progressive creative experience in an agency or in-house creative environment, including leadership responsibilities.

· 3+ years managing creative teams.

· Strong portfolio demonstrating brand development, marketing campaigns, digital experiences, and multi-channel creative execution.

· Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and modern creative workflows.

· Experience managing multiple brands or business units simultaneously.

· Strong understanding of print production, digital marketing, web design, and content development.

· Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

· Hospitality, restaurant, retail, lifestyle, or consumer brand experience.

· Experience working within high-growth, multi-brand organizations.
