The Royal Caribbean Group's Corporate Development Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Senior Analyst, Corporate Development reporting to the Manager, Corporate Development.
This position works on-site in Miami, Florida.
Position Summary:
The primary responsibilities of this position are to create complex financial models, analyze merger and acquisition targets, create executive level presentations and transaction memorandums, analyze the performance of certain joint ventures, support due diligence workstreams and other corporate development activities. This position reports to the Manager of Corporate Development and works closely with the VP of Corporate Development and senior leaders across Royal Caribbean Group.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Analyze acquisition and investment opportunities consistent with Royal Caribbean's M&A strategy.
  • Perform industry and financial analysis to help drive specific recommendations.
  • Develop complex financial models to evaluate target's financial projections.
  • Perform comprehensive financial valuations involving discounted cash flow, accretion/dilution, and comparable company/transaction analyses.
  • Perform and document due diligence (or coordination and review of due diligence performed by others) for potential acquisition targets.
  • Support the project management of specific due diligence workstreams during a transaction.
  • Create executive level presentations and memorandums.
  • Support the development of internal M&A insights and executive reporting.
  • Develop strong business relationships cross-functionally at Royal Caribbean Group.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
  • A Bachelors Degree is required / Masters degree desirable.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Corporate development, investment banking, transaction advisory, or private equity background preferred; travel industry experience a strong plus.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills to drive complex business issues to resolution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent writing and presentation creation skills. Ability to deliver presentations with confidence in meetings.
  • Strong financial modeling, P&L forecasting, understanding of all three financial statements, and valuation analysis experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to complete tasks promptly and drive multiple deliverables forward simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop rapport and credibility cross-functionally at Royal Caribbean Group.
  • Self-starter with intellectual curiosity, a strong desire to learn, and passion for creating an excellent work product.
