EXECUTIVE CHEF - MULTI-UNIT

Vicente's Supermarket is seeking a skilled, hands-on Executive Chef to lead culinary operations across multiple store locations. Must have strong experience with Cape Verdean, Portuguese, Caribbean, West African, and Central & South American cuisines, and the ability to standardize recipes, develop new items, train teams, control food costs, and elevate prepared foods and catering programs across all units.
Responsibilities
- Oversee kitchen operations across multiple stores
- Develop and standardize culturally authentic menus
- Train and manage culinary teams
- Ensure food safety, quality, and consistency
- Control food cost, inventory, and vendor relationships
- Drive presentation and sales of prepared foods
Requirements
- Expertise in Cape Verdean / Portuguese / West African / South American cooking
- 5+ years culinary experience; 1+ years multi-unit leadership
- Strong management/leadership + ServSafe certification
- Ability to travel between locations regularly
