Packer Freight is looking for a driven, entrepreneurial Account Executive who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is hungry to grow with a company on the move.

What You Will Do

You’ll play a critical role in daily operations, flexing across shipper and carrier functions to support your team:

  • Coordinate and execute day-to-day logistics activities including:
    • Appointment scheduling
    • Load creation and entry into TMS
    • POD and document retrieval
    • Carrier outreach and procurement
    • Pricing and quoting support
  • Own real-time load tracking, ensuring shipments stay on schedule and customers are proactively updated
  • Secure carrier capacity and help ensure on-time pickups and deliveries
  • Negotiate freight rates and assist in building a reliable carrier network
  • Step in to support Shipper and Carrier Account Executives as needed (team-first mentality is key)
  • Collaborate with leadership and teammates to improve workflows and uphold SOPs
  • Help implement and adopt new tools, technology, and processes
  • Maintain organized systems (carrier lists, Teams folders, documentation, etc.)
  • Identify and communicate workload gaps to keep the squad operating efficiently
