Are you detail-oriented with a passion for ministry? Our Franklin Campus is looking for a dedicated Executive Assistant to serve as the right hand to our Executive Pastor and HR Manager. In this role, you will do more than manage schedules you will play an integral role in the moving parts of our executive team. If you thrive on organization, possess a heart for serving others, and want to use your administrative gifts to help advance the ministry at Rolling Hills Community Church, we would love to hear from you.


OBJECTIVE

The Executive Assistant is responsible primarily for providing support to the Executive Pastor and secondarily for providing support to the HR Manager.

EXPECTATIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Pastor including, but not limited to, scheduling meetings and appointments, creating and maintaining agendas, maintaining calendars, and other items as needed/requested.
  • Help schedule and coordinate meetings by booking spaces, setting up rooms, and ordering catering/food if needed.
  • Coordinate conferences attended by leadership teams by booking travel and lodging, researching conference packages, and developing itineraries.
  • Help prepare All-Staff Meetings through retrieving information, creating presentation materials, coordinating participants, and communicating with staff through reminders and follow-up.
  • Attend designated meetings (such as HR Advisory Team and Culture Team) and record minutes.
  • Assist Executive Pastor in executing Annual Staff Christmas Party as well as other events included within overall staff development plan (such as Wacky Work Days and staff outings).
  • Assist HR Manager in employee processes such as hiring, on-boarding and off-boarding.
  • Assist HR Manager in maintaining correct employee files and information in BambooHR.
  • Assist HR Manager with employee benefits and other HR-related tasks.
  • Complete compensation surveys as needed.
  • Assist with organizational project teams that the Executive Pastor leads including studying, planning and coordinating their efforts.
  • Proactively looking ahead at all times for Executive Pastors schedule, team schedules and overall church calendar.
  • Keep organizational charts updated.
  • Run point on BASE metrics, regular weekly metrics and quarterly executive metrics.
  • Serve as occasional back-up to RHCC Office Manager by answering phone and front door.
  • Other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred: Minimum of five years in church-related ministry or the equivalent business experience

Required: College level undergraduate degree

High level of computer literacy

Full-Time | Exempt | Support Staff
