Job Summary โ€“ Senior Microsoft Exchange Migration Consultant / Exchange Administrator
- Lead the migration of on-premises Microsoft Exchange infrastructure to datacenter or cloud environments.
- Administer and support Microsoft Exchange Server (2013/2016/2019), Exchange Online, and hybrid messaging solutions.
- Plan, execute, and validate end-to-end Exchange migration projects, including on-premises to on-premises, cross-organization, and Exchange to Exchange Online migrations.
- Manage mailbox databases, DAGs (Database Availability Groups), mail routing, security, and overall email infrastructure.
- Perform migration planning, cutover, rollback, and post-migration stabilization activities.
- Administer Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory, including identity synchronization and authentication.
- Automate Exchange administration tasks and migration processes using advanced PowerShell scripting.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex mail flow, hybrid configuration, and performance issues.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security, and Microsoft 365 teams to deliver seamless migration projects.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation, including runbooks, design documents, implementation plans, and operational procedures.
- Deliver projects with minimal supervision, managing schedules, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication.
- Engage directly with customer IT leadership and technical teams, demonstrating strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Maintain strong problem-solving abilities and ownership mindset, ensuring minimal business disruption during migrations.
- (Nice to have) Experience with cloud infrastructure, Azure, VMware, backup/disaster recovery, email security/compliance tools, and large enterprise environments (5,000+ users).
- (Preferred) Industry experience in insurance, financial services, or large enterprise settings.
