The Role

Proofpoint is looking for a Talent Marketing Intern to join our Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will help bring our employer brand to life and support initiatives that attract, engage, and convert both early career and experienced talent. You'll gain hands-on experience working at the intersection of recruiting, marketing, and storytelling, while contributing to high-impact programs that shape how candidates perceive and engage with Proofpoint.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and present a talent marketing strategy for Proofpoint, including defining target audiences, recommending channels and content approaches, and outlining scalable ways to strengthen employer brand awareness and candidate engagement
  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of talent marketing campaigns across multiple channels including LinkedIn, email, and the careers site, ensuring campaigns are aligned to hiring priorities, delivered on time, and tailored to different talent segments
  • Create engaging and on-brand content such as social media posts, employee stories, blog articles, event promotions, and early career highlights, while experimenting with new formats like short-form video and graphics to increase engagement
  • Help promote open roles and key hiring initiatives by optimizing job descriptions, supporting job distribution strategies, and identifying ways to improve visibility across platforms
  • Contribute to building Proofpoint's early career brand by supporting university outreach efforts, creating content that showcases intern experiences, and helping position the company as an employer of choice for students and emerging talent
  • Support the planning and execution of recruiting events such as career fairs, virtual sessions, and intern program initiatives by developing promotional materials, coordinating logistics, and driving post-event engagement

What You Bring
