Position: Events Manager (San Jose, CA) Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Events Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate events, tradeshows, and employee engagement initiatives

This role will oversee all aspects of event management from concept development through post-event analysis, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with company branding and business objectives. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at managing multiple projects simultaneously, and brings creativity, attention to detail, and strong cross-functional collaboration skills. This is a W2 contract position and is not eligible for C2C or W2 referral candidates.

Key Responsibilities: Event Planning & Execution Manage all aspects of events from conception to completion, including internal consulting, vendor negotiations, contract administration, logistics coordination, onsite execution, invoicing, expense tracking, budgeting, and financial reconciliation. Maintain detailed plans of record, timelines, and documentation for each assigned event. Coordinate and execute corporate events such as company picnics, holiday celebrations, and employee engagement programs.

Partner with Marketing Communications (MarCom), communications, and brand teams to support event creative development, promotional strategies, and content needs. Collaborate with business unit teams to develop and implement event strategies, objectives, collateral, and logistics for Memory, Foundry, S.LSI, R&D events, and industry tradeshows. Oversee venue coordination, production schedules, speaker sourcing, and vendor management to ensure high-quality event experiences

Ensure all events align with company branding, messaging, and strategic goals. Project & Budget Management Develop and manage event budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure cost-effective execution. Track deliverables, timelines, and milestones across multiple concurrent events.

Handle post-event reporting, invoicing, reconciliation, and performance analysis. Conduct post-event debriefs and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Innovation & Strategy Research and recommend innovative event concepts and engagement strategies aligned with current and emerging industry trends.

Support both in-person and virtual event initiatives to enhance audience engagement and overall event impact. Qualifications: Minimum of 8 years of event management experience, preferably within a corporate environment. Technology industry experience is preferred but not required.

Proven expertise managing events from concept through execution, including complex logistics, production coordination, venue management, and budget oversight. Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent events in a fast-paced environment. Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and urgent requests.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
