JOB SUMMARY

 As an Event Coordinator at RIDE, you will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events, including trade shows, product launches, customer meetings, industry conferences, and corporate functions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that every event reflects our company's values, promotes our battery-electric technology, and drives meaningful engagement with our target audiences. The ideal candidate will be organized, creative, and passionate about sustainability, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver exceptional experiences.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning & Coordination: Oversee all aspects of event planning from conception to execution, ensuring events are executed seamlessly, within budget, and on time.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with internal teams (sales, engineering, and executive leadership) to align event objectives with business goals, messaging, and audience needs.
  • Vendor & Venue Management: Source and liaise with venues, vendors, suppliers, and other external partners to secure event resources, assist with external contract negotiation, work with internal procurement team, and ensure all logistical details are handled efficiently.
  • Brand Representation: Ensure that all events reflect RIDE's brand values, with a strong focus on sustainability and innovation. Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistency across all event materials and communications.
  • Event Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing department team to create and implement event marketing materials, promotional strategies, including digital marketing, email campaigns, and social media outreach
  • Event Execution: Manage event timelines, on-site logistics, and the smooth operation of all event activities. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the event to ensure a positive experience for attendees.
  • Post-Event Analysis & Reporting: Collect feedback from attendees, analyze event performance, and provide insights for future event improvements. Prepare detailed reports on event outcomes, including ROI and engagement metrics.
  • Sustainability Focus: As part of our commitment to environmental stewardship, prioritize eco-friendly event solutions, reducing waste and minimizing the environmental impact of each event.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in event planning, preferably in the automotive, technology, or sustainability sectors.
  • Strong understanding of event logistics, vendor relations, and budget management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners and software knowledge (Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, etc.).
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude, with attention to detail in every aspect of event execution.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with event management software and digital tools (Cvent, Eventbrite, etc.).
  • Familiarity with design software (Adobe Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, CapCut, Premier, etc.).
  • Passion for sustainability and electric transportation, with a genuine interest in contributing to the clean energy movement.

Physical Requirements:
This role requires some physical activity related to event execution, including:

  • Travel: Frequent travel to event sites, including trade shows, conferences, and other on-site events, often requiring overnight stays (up to 50%).
  • Lifting: Occasional lifting and carrying of event materials, promotional materials, or equipment which will include prepping and shipping packages (up to 50 pounds).
  • Standing & Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events and trade shows, ensuring a presence on the ground during key activities.
  • Setup & Breakdown: Assistance with the physical setup and breakdown of booths, displays, and event areas.
