Job description

The Event Set up and Deliver Driver plays a critical behind-the-scenes role in the successful execution of weddings and events across our Presidio venues, including the Golden Gate Club, Officers’ Club, and Log Cabin. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on, physically active work and takes pride in keeping events running smoothly through timely deliveries, efficient setup, and organized breakdown.

This is a part-time role with flexible scheduling, well suited for candidates balancing school or another job.

Typical Schedule Availability

  • Monday–Sunday: 5:00am–2:00pm
  • Friday–Sunday: 2:00pm–11:00pm
  • Some overnight shifts available


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Safely transport food, equipment, and supplies between Presidio venues using company vehicles
  • Load, unload, and deliver hotboxes, tables, chairs, décor, and event equipment according to event timelines
  • Read and follow Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure accurate setup and delivery
  • Set up and break down event spaces, including ceremonies and receptions for up to 200 guests
  • Assist with room flips, furniture moves, and post-event breakdown
  • Work closely with banquet captains, kitchen teams, and event staff to support smooth operations
  • Maintain organized storage areas and properly return equipment after events
  • Provide limited banquet service support only as needed (this is not a primary serving role)

Physical Requirements

This role is physically demanding and requires the ability to:

  • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds (with or without reasonable accommodation)
  • Frequently bend, stoop, reach, and climb stairs
  • Stand and walk for extended periods
  • Work outdoors and indoors in varying weather conditions
  • Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout a shift

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Comfortable with manual labor and fast-paced environments
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and timelines
  • Valid driver’s license and comfort driving company box truck vehicle (must be able to pass MVR check)
  • Event, warehouse, moving, delivery, or hospitality experience is a plus — but not required
