Position Function:
Assist with Special Event setups on and off campus.
Salary Grade: 09

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following examples are intended as illustrations only of the various types of duties assigned to positions allocated to this classification. 1. Performs the build/setup and removal of temporary structures, including setup and breakdown of various size tents for campus activities.
2. Loads, transports, and unloads materials and equipment for campus events.
3. Provides setup and arrangement for equipment/materials per event specifications.
4. Monitors storerooms and ensure order, cleanliness and security.
5. Works across departments for collaborative and seamless process for event preparations.
6. Works with pertinent personnel for equipment orders and ensure proper storage.
7. Performs related duties as assigned to maintain department efficiency
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Drivers License
1 yr exp
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Interpersonal and communication skills required.
2. Ability to read and write.
3. Understands instructions and executes efficiently to meet deadlines.
4. Works effectively with a wide range of constituencies; and perform variety of tasks.
5. Ability to exercise discretion with customers and the public, including reasonable standards for personal appearance.
6. Ability to work in a team and adhere to work rules that foster respect in the workplace.
