  • Coordinate with property management, security, and other internal departments to support event needs.
  • Conduct research on vendors and event resources to support planning efforts.
  • With guidance from the Event Services team, plan and execute small conference room rental events.
  • Help maintain and update event calendars, timelines, and shared planning documents.
  • Support inventory management for event supplies.
  • Assist in documenting post-event feedback, standard operating procedures and best practices for events.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a student at an accredited college or university as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior, with the ability to earn academic credit for time spent in an internship position.
  • Strong interest in event planning, hospitality, or property management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), familiarity with Canva is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends within the students designated credit hour requirement when necessary.
  • Willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to changing event needs and priorities.
  • Be able to maintain confidential information.
  • Walking, bending, and carrying of items up to 20 pounds.

Location: Nashville, TN

Duration: Fall semester internship duration will be approximately September-December 2026

Schedule:

  • Preferred minimum of 20 hours per week, aligned with the student's designated credit hour requirement.
  • Hours are meeting and events driven and will vary as needed; availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Additional Information:

  • All internships are in person; no remote opportunities are available at this time.
  • Internships do not provide compensation, benefits, housing, or transportation.
