An electrical servicing company in Pacific, WA, is currently hiring for a Commercial Electrical Project Manager to support a large commercial electrical project in Redmond, WA. The Commercial Electrical Project Manager oversees commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This role coordinates closely with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams, managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The position offers long-term growth, exposure to diverse commercial projects, and the opportunity to develop into mentorship and leadership responsibilities within a relationship-driven culture.

Pay - $60/hr. - $67/hr.

Location - Will travel between Pacific, WA and Redmond, WA ($800-$1000 Monthly Vehicle Allowance Offered)

Contract Duration - 12 Month Contract-To-Hire

(Summary of Key Responsibilities)

  • Manage commercial electrical projects from preconstruction through closeout, including planning, execution, monitoring, and final turnover.
  • Coordinate daily with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal field teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables, proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and resources across a range of commercial electrical work.
  • Support estimating activities and participate in the review of bids, proposals, and project scopes, with a willingness to learn and grow in estimating responsibilities.
  • Prepare, process, and track change orders and RFIs, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution of project issues.
  • Use Bluebeam and, preferably, Procore to review drawings, manage project documentation, and support effective project controls.
  • Apply NEC knowledge and a strong understanding of commercial electrical systems to support design review, installation quality, and code compliance.
  • Collaborate with field teams during site visits, walk-throughs, and progress meetings to monitor installation quality and address on-site challenges.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, design teams, and trade partners, maintaining strong communication and client-facing professionalism.
  • Lead and mentor Project Engineers or Assistant Project Managers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to develop their skills and performance.
  • Contribute to a team-oriented culture by participating in internal meetings, sharing best practices, and supporting a collaborative work environment.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, budgets, logs, and reports, to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Participate in regular company events, team lunches, and recognition programs, helping to foster a positive and relationship-driven workplace.

(Qualification Requirements)

  • (***Non-Negotiable Must Have***) 3-5+ Years of Commercial Electrical Project Management Experience.
  • One or more experience with the following: 1) Design-Build, 2) Tenant Improvement, 3) Mixed-Use, 4) Ground-Up, 5) Tilt-Up (Bonus). Only residential experience is not ideal.
  • Bluebeam proficiency for reviewing drawings, plans, and project documentation.
  • Experience managing projects from $500K - $10M in project value.
  • Any Electrical Estimating or Field experience (with knowledge of codes) is a big bonus.
  • Comfortable traveling between the Pacific, WA and Redmond, WA site.
  • Experience overseeing the entire project, labor, materials, GCs, foremen, etc.
  • Ability to effectively manage stakeholders, schedules, budgets, and project deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Leadership and mentorship capabilities to support Project Engineers or Assistant Project Managers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $67.00/hr.
