Do you enjoy planning events, building relationships, and connecting with people? If you're organized, outgoing, and passionate about community engagement, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
We're partnering with a local public service organization in Puyallup that is looking to add a Event Coordinator to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating events, working with community partners, and making a positive impact through public outreach.
Schedule: Tue to Friday 7AM-5PM (Schedule may change based on events and must be flexible to work Weekends or some evenings.)
Pay: $35/hr
Event Coordinator Job Duties:
  • Plan, coordinate, and support community events and outreach programs.
  • Schedule participation in local events, fairs, and public education activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and organizations.
  • Coordinate event logistics, schedules, and promotional materials.
  • Track event participation, feedback, and outreach metrics.
  • Maintain outreach supplies, promotional items, and educational materials.
  • Assist with community education programs and public safety initiatives.
  • Perform administrative tasks including data entry, reporting, and event documentation.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in community outreach, event planning, public relations, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer programs.
