Job description

Kirkland, United States | Posted on 07/07/2026

Cadence 3 is a woman-owned marketing, events, and content agency that builds strategy-led programs for discerning clients and some of the biggest brands in technology.

We do not measure success by what we produced, where we showed up, or how many tasks were completed. We measure success by the impact and outcomes we help our clients achieve.

Our work sits at the intersection of strategy, marketing, customer experience, content, and execution. We build brands, campaigns, programs, and experiences that create connection, drive engagement, support sales and marketing goals, and turn important moments into momentum.

The Role

Cadence 3 is looking for an experienced Event Manager to support the planning and execution of client-facing events across virtual, hybrid, and in-person experiences.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys balancing multiple priorities, and can confidently manage projects from kickoff through completion. The Event Manager will work closely with clients, vendors, internal teams, and event partners to deliver high-quality experiences while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented, with the ability to manage logistics, budgets, timelines, and onsite execution with confidence.

Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning & Execution
  • Manage end-to-end planning and execution of virtual, hybrid, and in-person events.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, workback schedules, timelines, and event deliverables.
  • Coordinate event logistics including registration, venues, travel, accommodations, shipping, and onsite staffing.
  • Support onsite event execution and issue resolution as needed.
  • Ensure events are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with client expectations.
  • Serve as a day-to-day contact for assigned clients and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate planning meetings and provide regular project updates.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and event partners.
  • Coordinate with internal creative, production, operations, and account teams to ensure seamless delivery.
Budget & Project Management
  • Create and maintain event budgets and forecasts.
  • Track expenses, purchase orders, invoices, and reconciliations.
  • Monitor project risks, dependencies, and action items.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting throughout the event lifecycle.
Attendee Experience
  • Oversee attendee registration and communications.
  • Coordinate speaker logistics, session management, and event materials.
  • Support attendee experience planning and onsite hospitality.
  • Assist with post-event reporting and event wrap-up activities.
Qualifications
  • 3–5+ years of event planning or event management experience.
  • Experience supporting corporate, marketing, technology, or B2B events.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, and event logistics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
  • Willingness to travel based on client and event needs.
What Success Looks Like
  • Events are delivered successfully, on time, and within budget.
  • Clients have confidence in project delivery and communication.
  • Timelines, logistics, and event details are proactively managed.
  • Risks and challenges are identified early and addressed quickly.
  • Attendees, speakers, and stakeholders have a positive event experience.
  • Processes become more efficient and scalable over time.
