Job Summary:

Reporting to senior management, the Construction Director plays a key strategic role in project success. Responsible for the overall performance of the project portfolio, this individual ensures the integrated management of contractual, operational, and quality aspects.

A true leader, she mobilizes teams, secures the company's interests and implements best practices to ensure rigorous execution in a complex and high-intensity environment.

Your daily life in our team

Leadership and team management

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of project managers

  • Implementing tools, processes and standards aimed at operational excellence

  • To foster an environment of collaboration, accountability and performance

  • Supporting teams in decision-making within the context of accelerated projects

Contractual and legal management

  • Oversee the contractual management of all projects

  • To oversee the drafting and monitoring of notices (preliminary notices, changes, disputes, etc.)

  • Manage claims cases in collaboration with internal teams

  • Negotiating and structuring major subcontracting agreements

  • Ensure the management of contractual risks and confidentiality agreements

  • To act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding contractual matters.

Risk management and project performance

  • Identify, analyze and mitigate project-related risks

  • Ensure rigorous monitoring of performance indicators (costs, deadlines, progress)

  • Implement proactive corrective strategies in case of deviations

  • Ensure proper documentation and contractual management of all impactful events

Project coordination and execution

Quality and compliance

  • Act as quality manager for all projects

  • Ensure compliance with certifications and accreditations (AISC, ICCA, ISO, LEED, etc.)
