Client-Facing Digital Project Manager

Bilingual role (French & English) in Montreal, QC.

Helping Event Organizers Deliver Engaging and Productive Experiences.

Sherpa builds the mobile and web platforms behind some of the world's largest conventions and trade shows, from Las Vegas to London, Dubai to Sydney.

We help attendees navigate complex venues, discover opportunities tailored to their goals, and connect meaningfully, while giving organizers the tools to boost engagement, surface insights, and prove ROI.

We're not a creative agency; we're an event technology company with our own platforms, working directly with leading associations and event organizers across various industries: healthcare, engineering, technology, consumer goods, etc.

If you've ever attended a large trade show or conference with a mobile app and a web platform, you'll understand what kind of products we deliver.

About the Role

We're looking for a client project manager who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. You'll act as the key link between clients and our internal teams (integration, design, and development).

This is not a technical role, but you need to understand digital platforms well enough to translate client needs into clear, actionable tasks. You'll manage multiple concurrent projects, balancing client satisfaction with project profitability, sometimes outside regular hours.

Occasional on-site travel is required, mostly to the US, about twice a year.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage multiple client projects from onboarding to delivery and follow-ups.
  • Lead client meetings and onboarding sessions.
  • Be the main point of contact, guiding clients and ensuring expectations are met.
  • Translate client requests into structured tasks for internal teams with clear priorities and deadlines.
  • Oversee content population and customization to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Test and validate platforms before deployment.
  • Monitor project performance, troubleshoot issues, and respond to client concerns.
  • Work closely with sales and business development to drive renewals, upselling, and referrals.
  • Analyze key KPIs, evaluate project costs, and recommend process improvements.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Travel abroad (mainly to the US) about twice a year.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years in digital project coordination, account management in an agency, or B2B client-facing roles, or in large-scale event/conference management.
  • Degree or diploma in business, communications, marketing, project management, event management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with project management tools.
  • Ability to hold the big picture while managing granular details.
  • Comfortable in a hybrid setup.
  • Native-level English; working proficiency in French.

Why Sherpa?

We're a growing team building the technology that powers major global events. You'll own real client relationships, work directly with the platform that participants and exhibitors actually use on-site, and see the impact of your work at events around the world.
