Since opening in 2008, we have continually invested in expanding our offerings. We started with a driving range and have continued adding more attractions each year. Our most recent additions are the Monkey Mayhem Miniature Golf Course and Bumper Boats! Sonny's Place is named in honor of the owner's father, recognizing how family ties get stronger when kids and adults get the chance to have fun together. Position Summary:

The Event Staff is responsible for preparing the banquet area from start to finish through an event. The Event Staff is also responsible for keeping a clean work environment and providing excellent customer service to our guests. Night, weekend, and holiday availability is a must.

Your Role:

  • Act as a representative of Sonny's Place to the team as well as the guests.
  • Maintaining a clean and orderly facility (i.e. workstations, restrooms, tables, etc.)
  • Setting up and breaking down seating/dining areas, buffet tables as well as supplies according to the banquet event order
  • Serves and replenishes buffet food.
  • Maintain all food and safety guidelines.
  • Communicate with the Banquet Supervisor on guests' needs and company standards.
  • Handles challenging guest service conversations to company standards
  • Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs.

  • Able to work a weekend, night, and holiday schedule.
