About Leaf Café: Leaf Café is a wellness-focused café offering premium coffees, teas, CBD-infused drinks, functional mushroom beverages, and a wide selection of wellness products. We are passionate about intentional living and building community through education, flavorful experiences, and meaningful conversations.

Position Summary

Leaf Café McKinney is seeking a creative and energetic Event Marketing & Promotions Manager to grow brand awareness, increase foot traffic, and promote our weekly events and special experiences. This role focuses on marketing, promoting, and helping execute events both inside the café and in the community. The ideal candidate is someone who loves building hype around events, connecting with the local community, and using social media, partnerships, and grassroots marketing to bring new customers through the doors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Marketing & Promotion
    • Promote weekly and special events through social media, email marketing, SMS campaigns, and in-store promotion
    • Create engaging content (photos, videos, posts, and flyers) to drive awareness and attendance
    • Coordinate with the café team to brainstorm creative event ideas and themed nights
    • Build excitement around events such as live music, wellness workshops, tasting events, and community gatherings
  • Community Outreach & Partnerships
    • Research and identify local vendor shows, expos, and community events in the Dallas/Fort Worth area
    • Represent Leaf Café at community events to promote the brand and invite new customers into the café
    • Build relationships with local businesses, event planners, wellness professionals, and influencers for collaborations and cross-promotions
  • Event Execution
    • Help organize and coordinate at least one weekly in-house event
    • Assist with event setup, promotion, and guest experience during events
    • Work with staff to ensure events run smoothly and guests have a memorable experience
Brand Ambassadorship

Educate customers about Leaf Café’s unique offerings including functional mushrooms, hemp-derived products, kava, and wellness beverages. Represent the brand in a positive and authentic way at events and community functions.

Marketing Support

Track event performance including attendance, engagement, and customer feedback. Help grow Leaf Café’s email and SMS marketing lists through event engagement. Collaborate with management on marketing campaigns and seasonal promotions.

Requirements
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
  • Strong understanding or willingness to learn about hemp, CBD, THC, kava, and functional wellness products
  • Creative mindset with experience in marketing, social media, or event promotion
  • Outgoing personality with strong communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships and connect with people easily
