Job Summary

The Event Operations Technician is responsible for the hands-on setup, execution, and teardown of live events across multiple Greenawalt Hospitality divisions. This role is ideal for dependable individuals who enjoy physical work, travel, and being part of a team that brings large-scale events to life.

Whether you're preparing a music festival, supporting a college football game, or helping construct premium hospitality spaces, you'll play an important role in creating exceptional guest experiences from the ground up.

No two events are alike, and every successful event starts with a team that's willing to work hard, adapt quickly, and take pride in the finished product.


Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Setup & Operations
  • Load, unload, and transport event equipment, trailers, and supplies
  • Assist with building tents, temporary structures, bars, hospitality areas, and operational spaces
  • Set up and remove equipment before and after events
  • Prepare event sites to ensure operational readiness
Equipment & Logistics
  • Operate safely while handling equipment and materials
  • Assist with inventory movement, organization, and equipment accountability
  • Drive company vehicles to and from event sites when authorized
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of company vehicles, trailers, and equipment
Hospitality & Event Support
  • Support food and beverage operations during events as assigned
  • Assist event managers and operational leaders with event execution
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment for guests and team members
  • Respond quickly to changing event needs throughout the day
Teamwork & Communication
  • Work collaboratively with production crews and operations staff
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow team members
  • Demonstrate flexibility while working in fast-paced environments
  • Maintain a positive attitude while supporting company goals
Safety & Professionalism
  • Follow all company safety policies and operational procedures
  • Use equipment responsibly and report maintenance concerns

Preferred Qualifications

Compensation

$20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience.

Travel Requirement

This position requires significant travel throughout the year, averaging approximately 50–120 travel days annually, including overnight travel, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Hotels are provided during overnight deployments, and additional travel compensation may be available depending on the assignment.
