  • Work collaboratively with teammates to address crisis situations, employing de-escalation techniques and connecting clients with public mental health crisis response teams when necessary.
  • Engage in follow-up assessments and develop preventive strategies post-crisis, ensuring a continuous and individualized care plan that includes collaboration with external agencies as needed.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role emphasizes a client-centered approach, prioritizing the psychological well-being of a diverse demographic comprising adults and adolescents. Clients may experience various challenges, including but not limited to chronic mental health conditions, situational stressors, and socio-economic barriers to care. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving their mental health outcomes, resilience, and overall quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, highlighting familiarity with various therapeutic techniques and client management.
  • Current clinical licensure in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
  • Strong interpersonal skills effective in building rapport with clients remotely and navigating the complexities of providing telehealth services.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a telehealth setting, with familiarity in utilizing electronic health record systems and virtual communication tools.
  • Specialized training in trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy, or other evidence-based therapeutic methodologies.
  • Flexibility to accommodate evening and weekend availability to provide comprehensive care to clients when they need it most.
