Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular counseling sessions utilizing telehealth platforms to ensure accessibility and comfort for clients experiencing mental health challenges.
• Perform thorough assessments to diagnose mental health conditions and formulate individualized treatment plans that encompass goals, intervention strategies, and measurable outcomes.
• Guide clients in developing effective coping mechanisms and adjustment strategies tailored to their unique situations, including life transitions and personal challenges.
• Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal standards, ensuring client confidentiality and data security.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and social workers, to promote an integrated care approach for clients with complex needs.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling, including the latest telehealth techniques and modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client population that includes adolescents, adults, and families who may be facing a range of mental health issues from anxiety and depression to relationship challenges and trauma. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.
• Current state licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida.

• Ability to independently manage a caseload while contributing to team initiatives.
• Flexibility to accommodate clients' schedules, including possible evening and weekend hours.

Preferred Experience

• Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, reflecting your level of experience and qualifications.
