Job description

Overview
Seeking a Technical Program Manager to join our team in the Stafford / Fredericksburg, VA area. As a Technical Program Manager, you'll work alongside our Department of Justice customer supporting their mission-critical programs. You will help guide a technical team through solution development and deliver that supports our strategic customer initiatives. This role requires an active Top-Secret clearance.
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal contractor supporting national-priority programs in Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training. Responsibilities
  • Support a Department of Justice/FBI program developing and deploying advanced data collection systems.
  • Provide clear direction to contractor staff, oversee task execution, and ensure milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate closely with customer leadership, responding to technical inquiries and issue resolution requests within 24 hours.
  • Supervise project staff and maintain consistent, transparent communication with Government counterparts.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with Government agencies and mission partners.
  • Deliver effective briefings to senior audiences and communicate clearly in both individual and group settings.
  • Manage multiple high priority tasks simultaneously, balancing short term requirements and long term program objectives.
  • Participate in company growth activities including opportunity identification, capture, and proposal responses.

Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret clearance; willingness to complete a CI polygraph if required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (BS + 10 years of experience, or MS + 9 years).
  • Demonstrated technical program management experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, analyze and resolve issues quickly, and operate effectively under direction of senior team members.
  • Ability to travel within the Washington Metro Area and occasionally within the U.S.
  • Previous experience with the Department of Justice is a plus

Pay Transparency Statement
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $150,000.00/Yr. - USD $190,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
