Job description

Join our team! We are accepting applications for full-time commercial construction carpenters. As an Estes Carpenter you will be involved in all areas of the construction process. You will be responsible for constructing, erecting, installing, or repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and comparable materials, such as concrete forms; building frameworks, including partitions, joists, studding, and rafters; and wood stairways, window and door frames, and hardwood floors. We are looking for people with a diverse mechanical mindset who are willing and want to learn new skills.
Skills & Qualifications include:
  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); and minimum of three to five years industry experience
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints and procedure manuals
  • Ability to perform manual construction work and equipment operation as described
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • OSHA certification preferred
  • Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures
  • Valid driver's license and Satisfactory Driving Record
