The Senior Sustainability and ESG Coordinator will be responsible for supporting global sustainability and environmental and social governance projects across the TAIT portfolio. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely sustainability reporting, managing ESG documentation, and analyzing data to help drive strategic decisions. Operating at an operational level, the Sustainability and ESG Coordinator supports projects of varying scale-local to global-collaborating with internal teams, clients, and external partners. By applying best practices in sustainability and social governance this role will help reduce our emissions and waste and mitigate our climate impact while directly contributing to our purpose: Creating Moments that Move People.
Responsibilities:
  • Measure, collect and report annual greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions data (Scopes 1, 2, and 3) to deliver TAIT's annual carbon footprint in coordination with internal stakeholders and third-party experts
  • Build relationships with key data collectors at TAIT to engage, train, influence and help problem solve
  • Lead data cleaning, consolidation and input into carbon footprint calculation tool
  • Prepare sustainability reports, including sustainability disclosures, annual Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting documentation and ESG reports plus third-party assurance efforts
  • Refine and improve carbon accounting process
  • Develop presentation and visuals for final carbon footprint for stakeholders
  • Provide support and documentation for Bid Coordinators as required
  • Support Green Affinity Network initiatives and projects as required
  • Provide support to the marketing team to create social media posts, case studies, presentation and updates to website
  • Working with the Principal, Sustainability & ESG develop and maintain a strong understanding of the sustainability landscape (legislation, frameworks, industry trends, innovations, etc.) to ensure TAIT remains at the cutting edge of sustainability
  • Work with the Principal, Sustainability and ESG to understand the environmental impact of our business and put in place measures to reduce year on year
  • Provide support for CB261, CBAM & ESOS reporting as required.
  • Other sustainability-related duties or projects as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Bachelors Degree or 2 plus years of intern experience
  • 2+ plus years of relevant experience in sustainability
  • An in depth of knowledge and passion for sustainability
  • Track record for data management and corporate sustainability reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to influence and secure buy-in
  • Experience of developing and tracking sustainability performance indicators and analysis with demonstrated ability to solve problems and identify and communicate patterns/trends
  • Relevant experience working in a similar role
  • Understanding of regulatory and reporting requirements in the EU and North America
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to build and follow processes and track changes and improvements
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • High level of motivation and the ability to work with limited supervision
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Comprehensive understanding of carbon literacy, waste and energy hierarchies and circular economy principles

Salary: $70,000 - $73,000 commensurate with experience
