Senior Manager of ESG & Product Compliance Reporting
Department: Production and Sourcing

This role ensures compliance with all (1) mandatory environmental and product-level reporting requirements in partnership with our existing outsourced vendors and (2) management of ongoing key ESG partnerships - Frontier (through Watershed; carbon removal investment), SuperCircle in the US (recycling / donate & destroy), VALPAK & RLG (EPR for product & packaging), and 3PL in the EU (who manages the donate & destroy).
Today, the function bridges finance, legal, operations, product compliance and sustainability, with a strong emphasis on accurate data interpretation and timely regulatory submissions.
Key Responsibilities
This role will need to understand:
  • Our financial systems and spend accounts (to support emissions measurement)
  • Our product-level and shipment data (to support EPR reporting)
  • How these data streams flow to our third-party partners (Watershed, RLG, Valpak)
  • How to maintain compliance documentation, track filings, and support audits
  • The evolving legal / regulatory environment globally (incl., climate, recycling etc), and how SKIMS needs to comply (with new market entry etc)
  • Environmental performance indicators (energy, water, waste) across the supply chain

The ESG Reporting & EPR Compliance role will:
  • Own annual emissions & EPR reporting cycles
  • Manage third-party data partnerships (Watershed, RLG, Valpak)
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting (data: financial, packaging etc)
  • Track regulatory changes (U.S. and international)
  • Support internal and external audit responses
  • Develop and maintain a reporting calendar and documentation repository
  • Support sustainability initiatives across sourcing, manufacturing, and packaging
  • Coordinate with product & operations teams to ensure compliance with ESG standards
  • Assist with supplier engagement and monitoring for ESG compliance
  • Respond to customer & investor requests for emissions data, sustainability disclosures

Reporting Components of Role:
Emissions Reporting (Climate-Related Reporting)
  • Continue to manage Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas emissions reporting via Watershed.
  • Maintain documentation, dashboards, and ongoing data transformation to improve emissions accuracy and traceability.
  • Mandatory compliance with CA reporting rules
  • Respond to legal, investor and customer data requests related to climate metrics.

Product-Level Mandatory Compliance (Extended Producer Responsibility - EPR)
  • Maintain partnership with RLG and Valpak for U.S. and EU packaging & product compliance.
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure packaging and sourcing initiatives align with sustainability goals and ESG requirements.

Ongoing ESG Partnerships Management:
  • Manage Frontier and SuperCircle partnerships and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
  • Support sustainability initiatives across sourcing, manufacturing, and packaging to strengthen ESG performance.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Experience with data analytics, compliance reporting, or sustainability data
  • Detail-oriented, comfortable managing regulatory submissions
  • Ability to manage 3rd party vendors
  • Self-driven as this role will be very autonomous
  • Experience with ESG or sustainability frameworks, supplier engagement, and data-driven performance tracking preferred
