Planning Systems Analyst
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Location: Spring, TX - Onsite

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Systems Analyst to support, enhance, and optimize an enterprise IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) environment. This role focuses on improving performance of complex planning models, designing scalable and efficient planning structures, and ensuring the reliability and accuracy of end-to-end planning and reporting solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with TM1 model development, performance tuning, automation, and system configuration, and will collaborate closely with both business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and optimize solutions to improve performance of complex Excel-based planning models using IBM Planning Analytics Local.
  • Develop and enhance TM1 models, including creation of cubes, dimensions, hierarchies, rules, and performance optimization strategies.
  • Build, modify, and maintain planning and reporting assets using Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) and Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE).
  • Develop and maintain Turbo Integrator (TI) processes to support data integration, transformations, validations, and automation.
  • Support configuration and maintenance of IBM Planning Analytics Local and Planning Analytics Workspace in Windows Server and OpenShift environments.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system performance, configuration, and data issues in partnership with business users and IT teams.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and scalability across planning and reporting processes.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for system configurations, data flows, TI processes, and infrastructure components.

Required Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1)
  • Experience with Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW)
  • Experience with Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE)
  • Proficiency in Turbo Integrator (TI) scripting
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, enterprise environment
