What is an escrow coordinator?

Escrow coordinators are professionals who manage the administrative and procedural aspects of real estate transactions, ensuring that all necessary documents and requirements are completed before closing. They act as a neutral third party, overseeing the transfer of funds and property between buyers and sellers. Their responsibilities often include coordinating communication between agents, lenders, and clients, tracking contract deadlines, and ensuring compliance with legal and contractual obligations. By handling these details, escrow coordinators help facilitate a smooth and timely closing process.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an escrow coordinator?

These skills ensure accurate, timely closings and a smooth escrow process for all parties involved.
