Company Description Green Escrow Services, Inc. is an independent owned established escrow company capable of handling a wide range of escrow transactions for the past 17 years. Licensed by the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation, the company offers trusted services in Bulk Sale transactions, Mobile Home transactions, Holding Accounts, Real Estate Sales, refinances and more. Green Escrow focuses on accuracy, compliance, and timely closings to support clients through every stage of their transactions. The team works closely with buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders to ensure smooth, transparent escrow experiences.


Role Description The Escrow Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Pleasanton, CA. This position supports escrow officers by preparing and processing escrow documents, opening and managing escrow files, and coordinating transaction details with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and verifying required documentation, handling payoffs and prorations, scheduling and tracking closings, and updating all parties on transaction status. The Escrow Assistant will also manage phone and email correspondence, maintain organized records, and assist their Escrow Officer with balancing files and disbursements in accordance with all regulatory and company standards. This role requires consistent attention to detail, strong communication, and a commitment to delivering professional customer service in a fast-paced environment.


Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in escrow processes, including escrow file management and transaction coordination..
  • Candidates should possess skills related to closings, including preparing closing documents and supporting accurate, on-time closing activities.
  • Candidates should possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact clearly with clients and colleagues.
  • Candidates should possess customer service skills to provide professional, responsive support to all parties in the transaction.
  • Strong attention to detail, efficient organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and fulfill deadlines.
  • Proficiency with standard office software and escrow or title-related systems.
  • Highly preferred but not required, candidate to possess experience in handling Mobile Home Transactions, and Floating Home Transactions.
  • Required to possess prior experience in escrow, title, real estate, or related financial services is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in real estate or escrow is a plus.
