Position Summary:
The ERP & Systems Administrator's role is to support and maintain our enterprise applications, primarily focusing on Microsoft 365, alongside ERP (Deacom) and internal systems as well. This hybrid role bridges the gap between business process, systems administration, and end-user support, contributing to overall IT operations and digital transformation efforts.
Position Responsibilities:
Microsoft 365 Administration:
  • Manage users, groups, and licenses in Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
  • Support and maintain Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Administer basic security settings via Microsoft Defender / Compliance Center.
  • Assist with email policies, shared mailboxes, MFA, and role-based access.
  • Work with the IT Manager to enhance the 365 experience for end users.

ERP Administration (Deacom):
  • Act as primary administrator for the Deacom ERP system.
  • Processes user roles, permissions, and training.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with Deacom for issue resolution and feature requests.
  • Support end user requests for feature changes, adds, troubleshooting.
  • Support ERP reporting, data integrity, and process documentation.

Systems Administration:
  • Maintain documentation of IT systems and configurations.
  • Provide Tier 1 and 2 support for end-user issues related to 365, ERP, and Windows-based systems.
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes and device provisioning.
  • Perform routine patching, software deployment, and account audits.

Project Support:
  • Participate in IT modernization projects, automation efforts, and system upgrades.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members in long term projects.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements through scripting or automation (PowerShell, Power Automate, etc.).

Skills & Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience with Microsoft 365 Admin Center and related services.
  • 2 years of experience administering ERP Systems (preferably Deacom or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of Windows client and server environments
  • Strong understanding of AD, DNS/DHCP, Group Policy, etc.
  • Familiarity with ITIL/help desk operations and ticketing systems.
  • Microsoft 365 Fundamentals or Associate level certifications.
  • CompTIA A+, Security+ or equivalents (Server+ is a bonus).
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks across multiple platforms.
  • Eagerness to learn and take ownership of internal systems.
  • Preferred: Experience with SharePoint Permissions/Automation
  • Preferred: Deacom ERP certification or training.
  • Preferred: Working knowledge of PowerShell/Power Automate
  • Preferred: Exposure to Azure AD, Intune, and other Microsoft security/compliance tools.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with low-code/no code integrations (Zapier, API tools).

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
  • The employee must be able lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Knowledge of CAT-6/6a/7/8 cabling, cable routing and other physical layer protocols is a must.
  • Must be able to occasionally climb ladders, crouch or kneel in order to access network cabling, hardware and server racks.
  • Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate hand tools, computer peripherals and cable terminations.
  • Position will require walking, standing, and sitting for extended periods of time.
