Job description

The ERP Applications Manager Leads and coordinates functional and technical aspects of Enpro's IFS ERP landscape. This role is responsible for managing and developing a high-performing ERP team focused on the operation and implementation of ERP systems. In addition, this role is responsible for creating a strong connection between IT and the business.
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
  • Execute the ERP applications strategy and roadmap aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Lead ERP implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Manage the ERP applications team, including recruitment, development, and performance management.
  • Develops a strong process-oriented business analyst team that connects well with their business partners and defines solutions that strongly meet their requirements
  • Ensure ERP systems are available, secure, and performing optimally.
  • In collaboration with other business managers, lead discussions with cross-functional managers to determine appropriate solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and support to users and stakeholders across the enterprise.
  • Develops, implements and optimizes controls and processes to meet the compliant requirements associated with Sarbanes Oxley
  • Responsible for all technical & functional aspects of the ERP systems within Enpro in addition to surrounding integrated applications. Some of the key functions include Commercial Excellence, Finance, Operations, Engineering, and Logistics
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to guide ERP evolution.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance ERP efficiency and effectiveness.

Knowledge, Experience, and Skills
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in ERP systems and business process management, including leadership roles in cross-functional environments.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful "greenfield" and end 2 end ERP implementations
  • Proven experience of establishing and developing an ERP implementation and support team
  • Experience in ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics. Expertise in IFS ERP implementations preferred.
  • Strong understanding of data technologies.
  • Knowledge of data governance, master data management, and data quality frameworks.
  • Experience leading digital transformation and business process improvement initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong project management capabilities including budgeting, resource planning, and risk mitigation.
  • Willingness and ability to travel globally up to 50%.
