Job Requirements

The ERP Developer Developer is responsible for effectively utilizing, managing, and continuously enhancing the organization's ERP solution, primarily focusing on Mi9 Merchant. This role combines technical expertise with strategic problem-solving to design, customize, and maintain ERP solutions that meet evolving business needs. The position requires collaboration across departments, ensuring seamless integration between ERP systems, Point-of-Sale software, and other business applications.


This is a hybrid role in our Support Center in Westminster, MA. 


Essential Job Functions and Duties:

  • Design, code, test, and troubleshoot ERP software applications to meet the organization's unique business needs. Modify existing ERP systems to enhance functionality and performance.
  • Ensure seamless integration of ERP modules with other business applications and systems, including Point-of-Sale (POS) solutions, to facilitate efficient data exchanges.
  • Provide ongoing support for ERP users, addressing technical issues and delivering training sessions to maximize user proficiency.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for software design, coding standards, troubleshooting procedures, and user guides.
  • Conduct rigorous system performance testing to ensure ERP solution's reliability, capacity, and scalability.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and external vendors to align ERP functionalities with business objectives and effectively manage system updates, testing, and release cycles.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify process inefficiencies, analyze root causes, and implement innovative solutions that drive organizational growth.
  • Oversee ticketing systems for ERP issues and enhancements, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical problems.
  •  Stay current with advancements in ERP technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement relevant improvements.
  • Lead and manage ERP-related projects, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to meet project timelines and goals.

Work Experience

Position Qualifications and Entrance Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in C# or VB.NET development.
  •  A minimum of 2 years of experience with T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server administration.
  • Hands-on experience in ERP or POS systems management and implementation, with Mi9 Merchant experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with retail, import, or manufacturing environments is a strong advantage.
  • Proficient in designing and troubleshooting ERP applications, with strong coding and debugging skills.
  • Expertise in database management, including SQL query optimization and performance tuning.
  • Experience with system integration and APIs for connecting ERP systems to external applications.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycles, testing methodologies, and release management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and align multiple stakeholders toward a common goal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex issues systematically.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach to identifying and addressing system improvements.
  •  High attention to detail and commitment to delivering reliable, user-friendly solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
