Summary:


The Hill Mechanical Corp. division of Hill Group (Hill) is seeking a highly motivated, detail-orientated ERP Specialist to join our team.
The ERP Specialist liaises closely with Hills Corporate Technology department, but also works closely with all Hill divisions to understand business needs, streamline workflows, and ensure effective use of technology and applications throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide system support by troubleshooting issues, resolving data errors and assisting with workflow questions. Escalate technical issues to the ERP Director or software vendor as needed.
  • Provide system administration by maintaining user accounts, permissions, and security roles under the guidance of the ERP director.
  • Maintain and validate master data (projects, cost codes, vendors, employees) ensuring data accuracy.
  • Document workflows, SOPs, and system configurations. Recommend system and process improvements.
  • Assist with the creation of training materials and reference guides, provide ERP training for end-users.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for ERP related questions.
  • Assist with testing new modules, features, and system upgrades and participate in implementation of new features.
  • Assist with requests by providing system data, logs, and documentation. Maintain accurate records for regulatory and contractual compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business related field, IT or Accounting preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience working with ERP Systems, COINS experience a plus.
  • Background in accounting, project controls or business systems preferred.
  • Understanding or experience with mechanical contracting or specialty trade construction preferred.
  • Understandingconstruction project workflows (job cost, procurement, billing, forecasting, time entry) preferred.
  • Experience documenting processes or developing training materials preferred.

  • Requires an ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure and adjust to changing situations
  • Requires great attention to detail, accuracy, an ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working with both office and field personnel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into system requirements.
  • Must be able to work independently with limited supervision while still being a team player; also requires an initiative to learn
  • Must be dependable, organized and self-motivated.
