We are seeking a strategic, assertive, and delivery-focused Vice President, Enterprise Applications and ERP Solutions to lead the global strategy, governance, and execution of enterprise systems with a primary focus on ERP financial systems and enterprise application delivery. This senior leadership role reports directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and partners closely with business and technology executives to ensure our ERP platforms-with Workday Financials as the core system of record-enable operational excellence, business transformation, and long-term growth.
In addition to ERP, this role will have oversight of other enterprise applications that interact with Workday Financials, ensuring seamless integration across Finance, Accounting, Procurement, CRM, and related platforms to create an end-to-end, streamlined back-office ecosystem. The successful candidate will be both a strategic leader and a hands-on driver of delivery, assertively leading teams and initiatives to completion.

Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan's Key Results

People

  • Provide assertive leadership and vision for ERP and enterprise application strategy and delivery across all global business units.
  • Build, lead, and mentor high-performing ERP and enterprise application teams with deep delivery expertise in Workday Financials.
  • Foster a hands-on, delivery-oriented culture that emphasizes accountability, measurable results, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop internal talent pipelines and cultivate trusted partnerships with Workday, implementation partners, and other technology providers.
  • Ensure alignment between global, regional, and functional teams to drive cohesive delivery of enterprise solutions.

Client

  • Partner with executive stakeholders (Finance, Accounting, Tax, Operations, and Procurement) to define ERP-enabled transformation roadmaps that support corporate strategy.
  • Lead the implementation, optimization, and delivery of Workday Financials, while ensuring seamless integration with other enterprise applications (e.g., Salesforce, procurement, expense management, reporting/analytics).
  • Ensure the back-office ecosystem is designed and delivered to improve efficiency, data quality, financial controls, and user adoption.
  • Oversee solution design, project delivery, and change management to ensure business readiness and sustained value realization.
  • Translate business needs into executable technology delivery plans and ensure on-time, on-budget execution.

Value

  • Establish and lead governance frameworks for ERP financial systems and the broader enterprise application ecosystem.
  • Drive finance and back-office process automation, controls, and standardization across global functions.
  • Ensure compliance with global accounting standards, audit requirements, data privacy, and regulatory mandates.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10-15+ years in technology leadership roles with a primary focus on ERP financial systems and enterprise application strategy/delivery.
  • Proven experience leading Workday Financials ERP implementations, optimizations, and global rollouts.
  • Demonstrated success managing large-scale enterprise application ecosystems with integration across Finance, Procurement, CRM, and Analytics platforms.
  • Experience managing large global teams, influencing senior finance and business stakeholders, and delivering results in complex, matrixed organizations.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong executive presence, strategic thinking, and results-oriented leadership.
  • Assertive, hands-on leadership style with the ability to drive ERP and enterprise application delivery to completion.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge Finance, Accounting, and Technology stakeholders.
  • Deep expertise in Workday Financials, including core modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Expenses, Procurement, and Financial Reporting.
  • Proven track record in delivering ERP and enterprise application programs on time, within budget, and aligned to financial and operational objectives.
  • Vendor management, contract negotiation, and Workday partner ecosystem leadership experience.
  • Ability to navigate organizational complexity and lead transformational change in a global environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Directly supervises employees and oversees third-party vendors in accordance with Firm policies and applicable laws.

Certifications and Licenses

  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Workday Financials certifications preferred.
