Basic Job Functions:

The Financial Analyst plays a key role in supporting and advancing the division's financial performance through data-driven analysis, operational insight, and system optimization. This position goes beyond traditional financial reporting to actively partner with operations, IT, and the division leadership team to improve financial visibility, strengthen decision-making, and enhance business processes. This professional will be a core contributor to the division's ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365 - Finance & Operations) team, with a strong emphasis on understanding system functionality, improving data integrity, and driving process efficiency. The position is designed as a development role for future leadership opportunities within Finance (Accounting Manager, Controller) or IT/ERP leadership.

Additional job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Analyze financial and operational data, identify trends, variances, cost drivers, product costing, margin impacts, and provide recommendations that improve profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Lead or support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting packages, variance commentary, month-end close, general ledger reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
  • Ensure financial data is accurate, transparent, and useful for decision-making by strengthening data integrity across reporting, ERP, and business processes.
  • Serve as a core member of the division's ERP team by learning Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O workflows, data structures, integrations, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Partner with IT and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, improve ERP functionality, align system capabilities with business needs, and enhance reporting accuracy.
  • Use Power BI, Excel, ERP reporting, automation, and AI tools to improve financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, metrics, and business intelligence.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a business-related field
  • Minimum of one (1) year of manufacturing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O)
  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools
  • Experience with product costing or cost accounting
  • CPA, CMA, or MBA
  • Prior experience in a financial analysis or accounting role
