ERP Implementation Lead (Finance & Operations)
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing organization in the Indianapolis area to identify an ERP Implementation Lead. This role will serve as a key partner between Finance, Operations, and IT, leading ERP implementation efforts, driving process improvements, and optimizing system functionality. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of accounting and operational workflows along with hands-on experience supporting ERP implementations, system testing, and business process transformation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead ERP implementation, deployment, and optimization initiatives across finance and operations
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Finance, Operations, IT, and external implementation partners
  • Document, evaluate, and improve accounting and operational workflows
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into system configurations and process improvements
  • Coordinate system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and issue resolution
  • Validate data migration, system integrations, and reporting functionality
  • Develop and maintain ERP-based financial and operational reporting tools
  • Create and deliver user training and support end-user adoption
  • Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and process improvements
  • Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and reporting capabilities
  • Support future system upgrades, enhancements, and expansion initiatives
  • Ensure system controls and processes align with business objectives and compliance requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience supporting ERP systems, implementations, or business transformation initiatives
  • Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and operational business processes
  • Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, or similar systems
  • Experience leading system testing, workflow design, and process improvement projects
  • Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior involvement in a full-cycle ERP implementation
  • Experience with data migration, reporting tools, and business intelligence platforms
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, CPA, or related certifications are a plus
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and operational efficiencies
Pay Details: $71.00 to $75.00 per hour
