Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator - ErgonomicsOverview:

US Conec is seeking an EHS & Ergonomics Coordinator to support and drive safety, health, and ergonomic initiatives across our manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in reducing risk, preventing injuries, and promoting a strong safety culture through hands-on partnership with operations, engineering, and leadership.

Responsibilities:
  • Support and maintain EHS programs in compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations
  • Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and ergonomic evaluations
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses; identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Recommend and implement improvements to reduce injuries and enhance workplace ergonomics
  • Track and analyze safety data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement
  • Deliver safety and ergonomics training to employees and leadership
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure safety is embedded in equipment, processes, and workflows
  • Support injury prevention, return-to-work efforts, and industrial hygiene initiatives
Must Haves:
  • 2-5 years of experience in EHS, ergonomics, or a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ergonomic principles
  • Experience with safety inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate and influence across all levels of the organization
Nice to Haves:
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Ergonomics, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with EHS systems or safety tracking tools
  • Background in industrial hygiene or injury prevention programs
