About the Role

Picture your first month as an Ergonomics and EHS Compliance Analyst: you start your day reviewing incident logs and audit notes, pulling data into Excel to uncover patterns. Mid-morning, youre on the floor conducting a quick risk assessment on a piece of relocated equipment. After lunch, you facilitate a brief ergonomic tune-up with operators, then document corrective actions and share recommendations with supervisors. Before you sign off, you draft a concise update for stakeholders so everyone knows whats changing and why.

What Youll Do
  • Compile and analyze safety and ergonomics data to support regulatory compliance and health & safety management system requirements.
  • Plan and conduct safety audits and risk assessments to flag noncompliance with company standards and applicable laws.
  • Participate in incident investigations and ergonomic reviews; help pinpoint root causes and propose corrective measures.
  • Communicate findings and action plans to cross-functional teams to drive awareness and follow-through.
  • Perform ergonomic evaluations of products, processes, packaging, equipment, tooling, and manufacturing methods.
  • Assess new or relocated equipment for safety and ergonomic risks prior to use.
  • Deliver practical ergonomic training to supervisors, operators, and broader employee groups.
  • Document corrective actions and continuous improvement plans to elevate safety and ergonomics.
  • Support ongoing programs that foster a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment.
Qualifications Education
  • Degree or certificate in Safety, Ergonomics, or a closely related safety discipline.
  • Engineering or other technical education will also be considered.
Experience
  • Entry-level talent and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Comfort interpreting regulations and supporting compliance initiatives.
Skills
  • Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency; strong data gathering and analysis capability.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; able to coach and influence.
  • Experienced in audits, assessments, and careful documentation.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and effective under general supervision.
Preferred
  • Working knowledge of workplace safety principles and ergonomics practices.
  • Hands-on exposure to safety/ergonomic assessments via coursework, internships, or related training.
  • Technical or engineering-related academic background.
Compensation & Benefits

Payrate: $30.34

Typical base pay across the U.S.: $30.34/hr.

Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law.

Final offer amounts, within the base pay listed above, depend on your skills, education, and experience.
