Identify and engage accident and injury patients within the Emergency Department immediately following clinical stabilization.

Serve as the primary liaison for patients, providing immediate guidance on follow-up care pathways and available resources within the medical network.

Coordinate directly with Emergency Room nursing staff and physicians to improve patient capture rates and ensure a seamless transition to specialist follow-up.

Facilitate the "warm handoff" to the external case management team to ensure long-term clinical retention and support.

Maintain high-level proficiency within the Epic EMR platform to manage account data and insurance information.

Execute critical data entry functions to ensure that injury-related accounts are properly flagged and optimized for the correct payor.

Perform account maintenance and suppression activities within Epic to prevent premature billing cycles and ensure data integrity.

Monitor system settings to ensure the identification window aligns with institutional billing cycles, preventing revenue leakage.
