Concentric Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin.

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Days (7:00–19:30) and Nights (19:00–7:30) | Every other weekend rotation and holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry inpatient setting
  • Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias
  • Utilize electronic health record system (EPIC) for documentation and care coordination
  • Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
  • Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license
  • Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in Medical Surgical/Telemetry
  • BLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) only
  • EPIC electronic health record experience required
  • Must pass a Telemetry competency exam prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher; 100% identification of lethal rhythms required on adult exam; maximum of three attempts allowed)
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience working in a Magnet-designated or academic medical center environment
  • Familiarity with both adult and pediatric telemetry rhythm interpretation
