Apex is growing our Georgia environmental team, and we're seeking an accomplished Professional Engineer or Geologist to spearhead the continued growth of our regional environmental practice in Georgia. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a strong environmental consulting practice with support from across our South Atlantic Division and National Account Leads.

Your Responsibilities as a Program Manager:

  • Lead and grow Apex's Georgia environmental consulting practice, with a focus on due diligence, site characterization, investigation, and remediation.
  • Develop and maintain trusted client relationships, serving as a strategic advisor to both long-term partners and new business opportunities.
  • Direct high-visibility projects, ensuring technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and successful environmental outcomes.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively on key technical concepts to regulators, stakeholders, and teaming partners.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor staff with direct supervision of professionals in the Georgia market.
  • Drive growth and profitability across the practice.

What we're looking for:

  • 10-15 years of environmental consulting experience with progressive responsibility and leadership.
  • Professional registration as a PE or PG in Georgia desired.
  • Proven success in, client engagement, developing additional opportunities, and managing complex environmental programs.
  • Deep experience with site characterization, investigation, remediation, and regulatory strategy.
  • Strong communication skills — both technical and strategic — with a proven ability to connect with regulators, stakeholders, and clients.
  • A passion for mentoring, leadership, and advancing a culture of excellence and safety.
