About this role

Join Emplify Health by Gundersen Hillsboro as an Environmental Assistant and help create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients and caregivers. In this role, you will support the daily operations of our facilities through cleaning, waste disposal, and attention to detail. Your work helps advance our mission of empathy amplified by supporting excellent care in a rural community setting where every role matters.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide cleaning and waste disposal services to help keep facilities well maintained.

  • Clean patient rooms, patient care areas, and support indirect patient care.

  • Follow safety guidelines related to body mechanics, hazardous materials, and personal protective equipment.

What you will need
  • High school diploma or equivalency required.

  • No experience required

  • Strong dependability, problem-solving, teamwork, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to prioritize work and use time effectively.

  • Commitment to safety, quality, and excellent customer service.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a health care environment.
