Job description

Job Summary:
Prudential Overall Supply, an industry leader in uniform and textile rental services since 1932, is seeking an IT Technician – Infrastructure Support to join their Corporate IT team. This role involves providing hands-on support for desktop systems, mobile devices, and Microsoft 365 applications while ensuring timely technical assistance across multiple company locations.
Responsibilities:
• Provide desk-side, remote, phone, and email support for employees across multiple company locations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, mobile device, and connectivity issues.
• Support Windows 10/11 environments and Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• Install, configure, deploy, and support desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and related equipment.
• Perform workstation setup for new hires, office relocations, and equipment refreshes.
• Support user account administration, password resets, onboarding, and offboarding activities.
• Maintain accurate hardware and software inventory records and assist with equipment procurement, deployment, warranty repairs, and asset lifecycle activities.
• Support endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune and other mobile device management solutions.
• Perform workstation patching, software updates, endpoint compliance activities, and basic security support functions.
• Manage incidents and service requests through ServiceDesk, Jira, or similar ticketing systems while documenting resolutions and knowledge base articles.
• Escalate complex technical issues to IT Analysts or other technical teams as appropriate.
• Create and maintain user-facing documentation and support resources.
• Assist with technology deployments, infrastructure projects, and other initiatives as assigned.
• Travel regularly to company facilities throughout California and occasionally to other locations to provide technical support and equipment deployment.
• Participate in occasional after-hours maintenance activities and support efforts as required.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• 1+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, desktop support, or a related technical support role.
• Experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and services.
• Basic understanding of Active Directory and user account management.
• Experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and related hardware.
• Experience using ServiceDesk, Jira, or similar ticketing systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
Preferred:
• Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• CompTIA A+ or similar industry certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, MaaS360, or other endpoint management platforms.
• Experience with hardware inventory, asset management, and equipment lifecycle tracking.
• Knowledge of basic networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
