POSITION SUMMARY:

The Workday Administrator is responsible for the day to day administration, support, maintenance, and optimization of the Workday platform, including managing Workday related incidents, service requests, and enhancements through ServiceNow. This role partners closely with Human Resources, Finance, Payroll, and business stakeholders to ensure Workday processes, security, reporting, and integrations operate effectively. This role requires a strong understanding of business processes, system configuration, troubleshooting, and end-user support.

POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Maintain and support Workday business processes, security roles, organizations, and tenant configurations.

Configure and test Workday functionality, including business process updates, notifications, validations, and calculated fields.

Assist with Workday releases by reviewing new features, assessing impacts, and coordinating testing activities.

Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.

Provide Tier 1 support for Workday questions, requests, and system issues.

Manage and resolve Workday support tickets through ServiceNow, ensuring timely response and resolution.

Triage, prioritize and track incidents, service requests, enhancements, and defect reports.

Investigate and resolve system errors, security issues, data discrepancies, and business process concerns.

Escalate complex issues to internal teams, Workday Support, or third-party partners as appropriate.

Develop, maintain, and update Workday training materials, user guides, job aids, and process documentation to support end users and system adoption.

Provide support to HR, Payroll, Finance, Managers, and team members regarding Workday functionality.

Develop, maintain, and distribute Workday reports and dashboards.

Assist business users in identifying reporting requirements and creating solutions to support their operational needs.

Ensure data integrity through regular audits and validation activities.

Maintain Workday security roles and user access in accordance with company policies.

Support periodic security audits and compliance reviews.

Assist with maintaining data privacy and confidentiality standards.

Participate in Workday enhancement projects, implementations, and optimization initiatives.

Develop and execute test plans for configuration changes, integrations, and Workday releases.

Support data loads and system testing activities as needed.

Communicate system changes, enhancements, and process improvements to stakeholders.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance employee and manager experiences.

Perform other functions as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience.

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of experience administering or supporting Workday is required.

Experience with one or more Workday functional areas such as Core HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking & Absence, Learning, or Financial Management.

Workday Pro certification(s) or Workday training in relevant modules is a plus.

Technical Skills:

Experience supporting Workday integrations and EIBs.

Experience with calculated fields, custom reports, and dashboards.

Experience creating and maintaining Workday reports.

Understanding of Workday security concepts and business process framework.

Experience using ServiceNow or a similar IT service management (ITSM) platform for ticket management and support operations.

Experience participating in Workday implementations, optimization projects, or annual release testing.

Knowledge of HR, Payroll, or Finance business processes.

Personal Skills:
