Your Mission

TFS is seeking an Applications Programmer I to join our automation and quality engineering team in an entry-level capacity. This role offers structured training in UiPath development and automated testing practices while supporting the testing and reliability of enterprise web applications built with .NET and ASP.NET. The selected candidate will learn hands-on from senior engineers and quality assurance professionals while building foundational skills in automation, test design, and continuous integration.


What You’ll Do

In this role, you will learn UiPath fundamentals and development standards through internal training and mentorship; assist in authoring automated test cases for web applications and APIs that support the NMMES suite of applications; execute test runs, capture results, and document defects under guidance from senior staff; follow the Software Development Life Cycle and Verification and Validation processes; troubleshoot defects or issues with automated test scripts and resolve them within designated schedules; maintain basic test documentation, test data, and workflow diagrams; participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies; and shadow automation engineers to observe CI/CD integration, RPA concepts, and automation lifecycle tasks.

Requirements: Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on software development experience.

· Familiarity with programming concepts in .NET languages such as C# or VB.NET, or similar programming languages.

· Basic understanding of web applications, including HTML, CSS, and ASP.NET.

· Strong interest in automation, testing, and process improvement with readiness to learn UiPath in a structured training program.

· Ability to follow guidance, communicate clearly, and collaborate within a team environment.

· Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.

· U.S. Citizenship required to meet government clearance eligibility guidelines.


Desired Qualifications

· Coursework or projects involving C#, VB.NET, REST APIs, or web applications.

· Basic SQL experience.

· Familiarity with Agile or DevOps concepts and Git.

· Interest in Robotic Process Automation and workflow automation.
