Job Description:
The Strategic Account Manager generates new business and manages customer relationships for Mail Innovations' (MI) large accounts. He/She is responsible for meeting and exceeding established individual sales plans. This position maintains a strategic partnership with UPS's Small Package sales team to obtain sales leads and develop enterprise bundled account strategies. He/She cultivates key relationships internally and externally to achieve sales results and high levels of customer satisfaction. This position stays abreast of competitive and industry knowledge to deliver enterprising customer solutions.
In addition, the Strategic Account Manager develops a deep understanding of clients' mailing operations and leverages UPS solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and drive long-term growth. This role identifies areas of opportunity within existing accounts, executes business reviews with decision-makers, and collaborates cross-functionally to ensure seamless service delivery. He/She actively participates in strategic planning, prepares custom proposals, and leads solution presentations. The incumbent also ensures CRM data is accurately maintained and provides regular forecasting updates to sales leadership.
This role will be remote but the preferred candidate would be located within: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Virginia, or Georgia.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field - Preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in strategic sales, logistics, or account management - Required
  • Strong understanding of direct mail logistics, USPS regulations, or e-commerce fulfillment preferred - Preferred
  • Proven track record of building and expanding enterprise-level client relationships - Required
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills - Required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) - Required
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours as needed - Required

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
