Job description

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Traveling Project Manager (Hyperscale Data Centers) in Tempe, AZ for a direct hire opportunity with our client. As a trusted partner in the construction industry, we connect top talent with top companies across the United States. 

Job Type: Direct Placement
Pay: $100,000 to $130,000 Per Year BOE

Responsibilities:
  • Project Oversight: Manage all phases of hyperscale data center builds, ensuring compliance with company standards for safety, quality, and financial performance.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, manage, and develop project staff; handle HR issues and performance feedback.
  • Financial Management: Develop budgets, track costs, ensure profitability, and manage resources efficiently.
  • Customer Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, manage expectations, and implement account improvements.
  • Operations: Oversee staffing, materials, implementation, installation, and daily project execution.
  • Design & Scope: Prepare scopes of work, manage design changes, and ensure deliverables are met.
  • Reporting: Track project metrics and report progress to leadership.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Proven experience in building hyperscale data centers (not just managing them post-build).
  • Travel: Often a 100% travel position.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, financial acumen, project management fundamentals (WBS, communication plans), HR management, and customer service.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be aware of OSHA safety standards
  • Maybe exposed to heights and loud noises  
  • May need to occasionally climb stairs and/or ladders.  
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, and bending
  • May need to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.
  • Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.

Pay Transparency
The anticipated salary range for this position is $100,000 to $130,000 Per Year, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
