Job description

Position Overview:

The Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist is an hourly, full time position that supports the Talent Acquisition function through operational execution, project support, and continuous improvement. This role coordinates recruiting activities across the hiring lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, background checks, travel coordination, reporting, and ATS support. The position also manages SharePoint content, supports vendor partnerships, conducts ATS audits, and helps enhance Talent Acquisition and candidate experience initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, service-focused, and brings strong follow-through, sound judgment, and at least two years of ATS experience.

Work Location: remote with a strong preference in the Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC area

Work Schedule: First shift, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

Travel: Less than 10% domestic travel.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate of $25-$30/hr, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Talent Acquisition operations across the full hiring lifecycle in partnership with TA Managers, hiring managers, candidates, and cross-functional teams.
  • Support projects and operational initiatives focused on process improvement, documentation, and service delivery.
  • Source and screen candidates for critical, aged, and hard-to-fill roles, ensuring alignment with hiring criteria.
  • Manage ATS activity, including job postings, candidate workflows, requisition updates, and data integrity.
  • Coordinate interviews and travel arrangements for candidates and new hires.
  • Review and support background check processes in partnership with internal teams and vendors.
  • Partner with third-party agencies and other vendors to support recruiting operations and audit requisition criteria.
  • Manage and update SharePoint content, reports, dashboards, and team resources.
  • Host TA Weekly calls and provide day-to-day operational support to the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Conduct audits of job postings, recruiting platforms, and TA processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Support training, onboarding coordination, hiring events, SOP development, and other TA operations activities as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance recruiting processes, tools, reporting, and the candidate experience.
