We are searching for a Test Technician to handle the testing of products developed by our company for public release. In this role, you will be required to plan, conduct, and report on testing done to products under development as well as provide advice and feedback to relevant stakeholders.
This position is based at our Santa Isabel, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.
What You Will Do

Perform tests to assess conformance with engineering specifications
-
Set up testing apparatus and conducts quality assurance/control tests of raw materials, parts, components, finished items, packaging, equipment and systems.

Perform final tests on sub-assemblies or completed units as necessary to ensure proper functioning of electrical, mechanical, and chemical performance
-
Scope of work may include but is not limited to strength testing, thermal testing, chemical management, pyrometry and metallurgic testing

Perform entry level troubleshooting, calibration or modification of hardware, fixtures, and software

Interpreting and recording test results

An essential function of this role is the ability to accurately see, read, and interpret information on screens and materials for extended periods. You will be required to successfully complete a post offer vision examination
Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline

Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written)

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
