- Apply your analytical and programming skills using open-source technologies such as Apache Storm, Apache Spark, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
- Design and implement scalable machine learning algorithms to process terabytes of streaming data.
- Organize and analyze raw data while building and maintaining robust data systems and processing pipelines.
- Support troubleshooting efforts in production environments and assist in resolving customer issues.
- Leverage network data to enhance the Mist platform's inference engine and AI capabilities, including the virtual assistant chatbot.
- Assist in determining failure probabilities across the Wi-Fi network and conduct failure scope analyses.
Education Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Proficient in Java and Python programming languages.
- Solid understanding of big data tools and techniques, including distributed storage and computation engines.
- Experience developing reusable, scalable data processing components.
- Familiarity with cloud-based CI/CD tools and collaboration with DevOps teams to monitor data pipelines.
- Understanding of multi-cloud production environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot open-source data processing engines such as Apache Spark and Apache Storm.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts is highly advantageous.
